Gypsy's Wands
The
wand is one of the prime magickal tools.
It has been used for thousands of years in magickal and religious rites.
The wand represents the element of Air to some Wiccans, and is
sacred to the Gods. It is sometimes used to direct energy; to draw
circles on the ground and magickal symbols in the air.
Traditionally the wands were made of wood, using trees
such as, oak,
apple, peach, hazel, cherry, etc. Any fairly straight piece of wood can be used.
Some wands are made of stone, with quartz crystals at both ends.
Making it a receiver and a transmitter.
Don’t worry about finding the ideal wand at first; one will come to you,
as long as you feel comfortable with it.
